Abode Bathroom and Kitchen Care Review

Abode Laundry, Bathroom and Kitchen Cleaners first came into Mitey Fresh home 2010, a fresh line of non-toxic cleaning products. I primarily reviewed the laundry care products and dish washing products earlier, and now I want to introduce you to a few of my favourite kitchen and bathroom options from this brand.

Do It Yourself Homemade Cleaning Products Box

Jointly with Danielle Shirley, Naturopath at Naturally Home, we put together this box to get you started, everything you need in one kit.

I’ve used Cornwells Fermented White Vinegar since I ventured into my adult journey, which is non-toxic and non-fragrant for those like me who knew no different to what mum taught us. The bicarb soda is ideal for a little more scrubbing power and the borax if you need to shock more, the most natural way.

Over time I’ve sensed many cleaning products, and my sensitive skin, nose, eyes and intuition tells me immediately which ones to avoid. Anything with fragrances or the words ‘organic’ or ‘natural’– ingredients not listed on cleaning products – is a no-go for me.

Melrose Castille soap – available in the kit for laundry, DIY crème cleaning paste, or even as a gentle cleanser for hands here. Most hand cleansers either irritate my skin or fail to be perfume free. This one is great for dry, itchy, irritated or sensitive skin, and gentle. If you have oily skin or acne, it helps oil production and preventing the clogging of pores. I’m the most intuitive to scents and texture and touch.
